■ My YR2012 Shoes

I bought these 2 shoes from Gama.  

■ "Silkworm Candy"

Below items are called as "silkworm candy" in Contonese; so I really have no idea what to call it in english.
Anyway, I bought these at Air Itam, Penang.  They are handmade upon we order; so indirectly we can see how the lady make the candy.  Well, the outside of the candy is made by some kind of flour and the internal is with peanut (grind into powder form).

The "Green" one is mint in flavor.  I personnaly not really like this because to me the mint is covering up the peanut smell when we chew them togather.  But overall, it is still tasty.

The "White" one is original flavor.  I love this one very very much!  The combination of the flour and the peanut just make the taste so perfect!

I get my 2-new pairs of glasses just now.  Nice or not?

■ My Home Cook "Black" Porridge

Picture show my "black" porridge.  Simple...but taste yummy!  It can be eaten as breakfast, lunch , dinner or supper, how good!    

Ingredient :

1) minced pork marinated with (osyter sauce + thick soy sauce + light soy sauce + sesame oil + pepper powder + salt + sugar).

2) garlic and onion.

3) Optional : carrot, potato, baby corn, button mushroom and many more.

4) rice.

Method :

Fried the #1 and #2 for a while then take out and pour into rice cooker to cook them as porridge.  Easy rite!

■ My Xmas Tree 2011

This year I bought a small unit (60cm) of xmas tree on 13 Nov 2011.  As usual, I will very excited to decorate it but then when the time to dismantle; I will very very very lazy to do it..oh my!  So, it is best to buy a small unit of tree than a big one!

■ TM UniFi

Yipee! At last TM UniFi (high speed broadband) reaches my residential area today.  Hubby has subscribe the 20Mbps braodband and they will come and fix for us next week...can't wait lah! 

■ My Fried Spaghetti

Lazy to cook and yet need to fill up me and Lindy's tummy, so this is the solution.  Simple, easy and fast to ready.

■ My Homecook Oven-Roasted Pork (Char Sio Bak)

First time I try out to cook my own char sio bak, and the result is not bad...taste good! Hey, dunno I got accidently bought a "rubbish pork" (recent hot topic!) or not huh! Don't care-lah, makan aje-lah!

My oven-roasted pork or char sio bak (in hokkien). 

Simple and yet delicious vegetable.

■ Hubby New Toy - "ent" device

This is hubby recent hi-tech toy...What is this device then? Well, it is called "ent"...below is the answer, check it out!

“ent” is a compact and powerful media player system that works hard to organize and enhance your digital entertainment experience.

Live – browse and play thousands of internet-based media files w/o the need of a PC.

Network – share photos, music and videos from multiple computers on your TV, wired or wirelessly.

TV – enjoy 1080p full high-defination media on your best home entertainment system.

It needs a very simple setting method only; what we need is the “LAN” port to connect to this device.  Photo show is the sockets and LAN port that we “ready-made” at our tv corner before we moved in to this house.

This is the overview after complete fixing the device.  Well, with this device, I can watch thousand of movies via the “internet channels” through my TV instead of watching online movies using my laptop or PC, how wonderful!  The internet channels that I mentioned here is like Youtube, PPS, Sina TV, Youku, Voole and many many mores…

■ My Homecook Breakfast

This is the garlic bread that I baked for our breakfast.



Besides, I have the sausages, sunny side up egg, read baked bean and mushroom soup.


Hmm...it is so delicious. You want to have some?

■ My Baked Chicken Wings

I would like share my baked chicken wings.


Photo show the chicken wings before bake in the oven.



Wrap them with aluminium foil.



Place them in the oven.



Finally, the outcome of the chicken wings. Real yummy!

Here are the ingredients needed:
* light soy sauce
* thick soy sauce
* oyster sauce
* sesame oil
* pepper powder
* mixed spice powder (五香粉)
* sugar / brown sugar

Soak the chicken wings with above mentioned ingredients then bake them in the oven with 180deg C for 35min.

But if you jz bake like 2 pcs of chicken wings, then set the time to 20min will do.

■ My Potted Plant (富贵花)

Hey Jey, my potted plant again going to blossom soon...and it is a lot leh. The larger view of red circle is at the 2nd photo.

Jey, what do u think? A lot boh? Siok huh...really can't wait to see they are blossom into a bigger flowers. I will for sure to snap a photo to show u again when they are grow into bigger flowers.

■ A Gift

This afternoon I received a parcel from a “company”. My first thought, what could it be inside the box? Well, I opened up the parcel; Wow…it is a gift! I was like very excited to unwrap the paper and da…da…”Ahhh…It’s a pen again! Can’t it be something different”. Too bad, this is the words that coming out from my mouth. That’s really bad of me. I should appreciate the gift anyway!

I think it is time this company should make some changes to their corporate gifts that to be given away to customers. They should find something more creative, stunning and personalized that can make their customers smile all the way through upon receiving the gift. And make their customers feel they are the value and royalty customers to them. I wanted to share a link here, corporate sweets. They are professional in offering personalized sweet gifts, jars of sweets, hampers and boxes. I like their ideas. At least I don’t get a pen again and again…hah!

■ Singapore Trip (12th – 16th Mar, 2011)

During our stays at Singapore, hubby's friend treats us wtih these delicious seafood. Thank you so much, friends.

■ Hamper From TM Point

Just now around 11:30am, I received a phone call from TM Point saying that they are at my downstair and will come to my unit to sent a hamper for hubby.

Tada...here is the hamper! Not bad huh, it is a token of appreciation for being royalty to TM Point.

■ Sink Caddy

During my pass US trip (July 2010), I saw this kitchen gadget called "sink caddy" at Alberto's house. I chat a little about it to Davidson...I told him that I like the sink caddy so much and where can I get it in the US...since I was there and I wanted to buy one for myself. I think I won't get it in Penang, I'm not sure anyway! But then Davidson said, he forget which stores they get it from already! Well, I was like, nevermind...just forget about it.

Anyway, yesterday I get this item already and it is sent by Davidson...far far away from US to me at Penang. How good you both, Davidson and Alberto. Thank you so much, thank you so much...I really, really like it. I'm going to place this gadget at my new house kitchen sink. You sending me this gadget just the right timing, Davidson.


The sink caddy - white in colour. What a perfect colour where suit to my new kitchen.

Note:
We must have double sink in order to use this gadget. The both "pocket" is for placing the sponge. So just slot the "U-shape" of the sink caddy in between of our double sink.

■ A Gaint Size Orange

Today hubby bring back a gaint size orange for me. This orange is given free to all employees during their lunch hour; each employee gets one piece.

With my hand on the photo, you can get a better judgement on how big the size of the orange.

■ My 10th Anniversary Celebration

Well, 1st Jan is me and hubby marriage anniversary besides a "New Year". Every year, hubby is the one that have to remind me on this "big day" - where to dine and what to eat! But, this year, hubby forget about this big day as his head is fully loaded with house renovation matter besides his everyday workload...poor him!

So this year, it is me that hints hubby where to dine and where to eat...he was like, "OMG! Sorry dear, I've forget about this big day of us!". So, last minute decision, we went to nearby restaurant to have our special dinner. We choose to dine in Victoria Station. Here are the food that we ordered.
