*We left Las Vegas around 7:45am and start our journey to Chandler, Arizona. Again another 5hrs 50min drive (with speed 65-75 miles/hr) to reach Chandler. This means we are no longer in California states anymore; goodbye California…and…Arizona, I’m coming!
*We stayed at SpringHill Suites, Marriot.
*The weather over there is really “hot”. The tarred road is expelling the heat out from the surface and our foot can feel the heat. This happen during day time as well as night time (like 9pm to 10pm still feel the same, later than this time I’ve no idea already as we never go out so late, but I guess it should be still hot cos’ early in the morning the feeling is just the same too!).
*One thing I want to share here…cactus plants are plant in the road divider and the cactus is very very huge and very very tall – higher than a man height. Sorry, I forget to snap a photo of those cactuses. Anyway, Arizona is a dessert area huh!
*We went to Tempe Town Lake on 19 Jun to snap some photos. But we dare not to walk around in the park as it is very very hot. But the people here, they just like to get sun-burnt and purposely went to the park to have picnic etc, OMG! We Malaysian, nampak matahari terik, cabut fast fast dy…wakkakakaka.
*Later in the afternoon, we went to Chinatown at Pheonix. There have an Asian grocery store, Chinese herbs store, Chinese restaurant etc. This place is very ngam to us lo; easily can find the things we want to eat and buy.
*We checked out SpringHill, Marriot 20 Jun at 10am and drive towards to car rental station to return our car (Infinity…goodbye) then take the shuttle to Sky Harbour airport. We fly to Austin, Texas. – took us 2 hours to reach Austin.
