My new home is in the renovation mode now. Lately, I’m so busy (besides taking care of baby Lindy) looking into home remodel or house renovation kind of stuffs via the internet or magazine.
Well, before the renovation project starts, the first thing that we (hubby and I) look into is our house layout. We firmed with our decision where to extend and where to hack and so on and so forth. After done with our proposed house layout, the next thing is to get a few quotations from a few contractors to compare which one is giving the cheapest quote. I would said, this is not an easy job as we need to “on-site” with the contractors, explain to them what has need to be done. Next, the contractors also need time to come out with their quotation. In addition, we need to keep follow up with them and chase for the quotation too! Well, it is really a time consuming task!
Anyway, just my sharing here…Bisonbid.com is a very useful website where we can easily and it is rather save time in finding our desire contractor (of course the cheapest one) to perform our house renovation project be it bathroom, kitchen or entire home. What we need to do is just to post up our detail what has to be done and our budget for the project on their website.

To Eugene -We will not do hse warming lah...but if siapa2 yg sudi datang visit us, we are always welcome. Jz ring me up to make sure I'm home.
Getting your house remodeled is really time-consuming, so you must be very careful in choosing the details for your home. Good luck on the whole remodelling process! Maybe you can post pictures of your house during the remodelling, as well as the finished product!
Well, after a year of getting your place renovated, what does your house look like now? It's such a fun learning experience to go through the whole process, from planning to the work itself. It's just like when my friend's place got renovated. I watched it unfold!
